George Albert "Bud" Draper 80, of Caddo, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday morning November 22, 2017 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born February 27, 1937 in Durant, Oklahoma and attended Caddo schools where he was a 1956 graduate. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era serving from 1960-1963 He Married Linda Powers January 15, 1966 in Irving, Texas.
He was a master electrician and was a maintenance worker for Grayson County Jail and was a certified jailer and certified law enforcement officer for over 10 years retiring in 1999.
He was a longtime member of the Robinson Baptist Church and lived around Caddo most of his life. He was an avid Mower and was always mowing yards.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and two Children Deborah Jean "Draper" Morton and James Andrew Draper and a Sister Flora Mae Wells.
Surviving is his Wife Linda Draper of the home. Grandchildren Cody Yong and wife Danielle, Lorraine Dillard and husband Matthew and Joshua Yong and wife Kayla. Great Grandchildren Willow Yong, Trey Thompson, Everett Yong, Jayden Yong and Keaton Dillard.
A Funeral Service for George "Bud" Draper will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon November 27, 2017 in the Robinson Baptist Church with Reverend Don Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo. Pallbearers will be Joshua and Cody Yong, Lorraine and Matthew Dillard, J.D. and John Anteau. Family hour will be from 1-2 Sunday afternoon at Cunningham Funeral Home.
