Dan Clements a resident of Kenefic, Oklahoma passed away in Denison, Texas on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the age of 70 years 10 months and 25 days. He was born in Maytubby Springs, Oklahoma on Friday, January 22, 1943 to Marvin Lee and Helen Jewel (McMichael) Clements. Dan married Carol Johnson in Reno, Nevada on Saturday, February 6, 1960.

Dan was a member of the Church of Christ faith. He retired after many years of employment with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Dan loved bowling and working on their home place, but the most important thing to Dan was his family, especially spending time with his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Clements is survived by his loving wife, Carol of the home; sons, Eddie Clements and wife Donnita of Durant, Oklahoma and Teddy Clements and wife Debbie of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter, Dana Morriss and husband David of Ada, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Devin Lackey and husband Brandon of Ada, Oklahoma, David Morriss and wife Marissa of Ada, Oklahoma, Darrell Pollard and wife Shelly of Durant, Oklahoma, Emily Clements of Grapevine, Texas, HayleeClements of Durant, Oklahoma, Brad Clements of Durant, Oklahoma, Mandy Morriss of Claremore, Oklahoma, Tasha Church of Claremore, Oklahoma, Mason Morriss and wife Kim of Juneau, Alaska and Miranda Good of Achille, Oklahoma; brother, Richard Clements and wife Pam of Galt, California; sister, Judy Gordon of Caddo, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Connie Clements of Dickson, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Abby Grand, Erin Lackey, Gracie and Davie Morriss all of Ada, Oklahoma; Taylor, Tory and Marleigh Pollard of Durant, Oklahoma, Taven Heath of Milburn, Oklahoma, Kealy and Gabe Church, Mersadeze Morriss of Claremore, Oklahoma, Kason Morriss of Juneau, Alaska and Merick Zachary of Durant, Oklahoma; 13 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Mr. Clements was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Helen Clements; brother, Dale Clements (who passed away 9 years to the day as Dan); mother and fathter-in-law, Erenest and Ceciel Johnson.

A Graveside Service in honor of his memory will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo with Cory Myers officiating.Friends may come by and view during opening hours from 8 am until 8 pm.Family and friends may send online condolences and view tributes at www.holmescoffeymurray.com.
