Carol E. Clements of Durant, OK passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in Denison, TX at the age of 76. She was born on July 20, 1943 in Carlsbad, NM to Earnest Johnson and Cecil Perminter.
Carol married Marvin Clements on February 24, 1960. They shared many wonderful years until his passing. She worked at home and took care of her family. Carol was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, but her greatest joy in life was her family who she loved taking pictures of.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Cecil Johnson; husband, Marvin Clements; sister, Joy Johnson; mother and father in law Marvin and Helen Clements; brothers in law, Dee Carmach, James Miller, and Dale and Connie Clements and granddaughter Marissa Morris.
Survivors include her children Eddie Clements and wife Donnita; Teddy Clements; one daughter Dana Morriss and husband David; three sisters June Carmach, Dodie Perminter and husband Leon, and LaDonna Miller; brother in law Richard Clements and wife Pam; grandchildren Haylee Clements, Darrell Pollard, Emily Clements, Bradley Clements, Devin Lackey and husband Brandon; David “Bud” Morriss; Mason Morriss, Tasha Morriss, and Mandy Morriss; 17 great-grandchildren and great niece Miranda Little and husband Josh along with other extended family members and dear friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo with Roy Vandenburg officiating. The family will accept friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
