Bonnie K. Chaffin, a resident of Caddo, Oklahoma, left this life and joined her Lord and Savior in Denison, Texas on January 15th, 2019 at the age of 82. Family hour will be from 7-8:00 PM on Thursday January 17th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday January 18th at the Caddo 1st Church of the Nazarene in Caddo with Bro. Clifford Joines officiating. Burial will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo with her beloved grandchildren servicing as her pallbearers.
Bonnie was born in Durant, Oklahoma on January 26th, 1936 to Alfred and Lola (Birdwell) Tucker. She married Olen Chaffin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 27th, 1952, he preceded her in death on April 29th, 2010. Bonnie was a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene in Caddo. She enjoyed creating delicious meals for those she loved, while caring for her home. Bonnie cherished her large family and looked forward to any time spent together.
Mrs. Chaffin is survived by her: children, Charlotte Pate and husband Victor of Durant, Oklahoma, Sherri Owens and husband Kenny of Kenefic, Oklahoma, Danny Chaffin and wife Johnna of Madill, Oklahoma, and Steve Chaffin and wife Jan of Caddo, Oklahoma: 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild: sisters, Wanda Lackey of Caney, Oklahoma and Margaret Holland of Durant, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Chaffin was preceded in death by her: parents, Alfred and Lola Tucker, and husband Olen: grandson, Jeromy Chaffin: brothers, Carl Lee Tucker, Welton Tucker: and sisters, Pauline Alford and Joyce Hider.
