William “Ken” Behrens of Caddo, Oklahoma passed from this life on December 1, 2022. He was born on August 8, 1948 in Armstrong, Oklahoma to John Fredrick and Effie Marie (Paddock) Behrens.
Ken achieved a master’s degree and became an educator, and taught classes at Kiamichi Tech. He became a realtor as well. Ken also worked at the Choctaw Community Center District 10 as a bus driver, and he also worked in surveillance at Choctaw. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the Community Center. He also enjoyed watching tv.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother Larry Behrens and wife Lana of Caddo, Oklahoma, and his sisters Shirley Ogle and husband Marion, Edie McMichael, and Ethel Ervin and husband Eddie Don, all of Caddo, Oklahoma, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ken also leaves behind two fur babies Max and Shane.
Preceding him in death are his parents John F. and Effie Marie Behrens, his brother John E. Behrens, and brother-in-law Gerald McMichael.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the pavilion in the Gethsemane Cemetery with Tommy Green officiating. Those serving as honorary pallbearers are Ken’s nephews, Paul McMichael, John Behrens, Jason Behrens, Rick Ogle, Chris Behrens, Josh Behrens, and David Behrens.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 North 5th Street, Durant, Oklahoma 74701.
