Lester Eugene Williams

Lester Eugene Williams 71 of Cartwright, Oklahoma passed away Monday February 1, 2021 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born January 13, 1951 in DuBoise, Illinois to Billie G. and Idris Dehne Williams.

He proudly served in the United States Army 1969-1971 and served two tours in Vietnam. He Married Becky Geiger November 8, 1975 in LaMoille, Illinois. He had a variety of jobs including truck driving, heavy equipment, auto body among other trades as oilfield worker under Engineers. Les was also passionate about fishing and hot-rods. He was of the Baptist Faith and moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1978 before moving to Cartwright, OK. in 1994.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Brother at Birth.

Surviving is his Wife Becky Williams of the home Cartwright, OK. Son Robert Williams of Boerne, Texas. Daughter Melissa McLemore and husband Havard of Denison, Texas. Granddaughters, Delaney Williams and Kensi McLemore as well as other extended Family.

A Graveside Service for Lester Eugene Williams will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon February 4, 2021 at the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert, OK. with Rodney Sprayberry officiating. Pallbearers will be Havard McLemore, Steve Vannier, Lyle Bensley, Sam Bolerjack, Carlos Segura and Cezar Segura. The Funeral procession will depart the Funeral Home at 1:30 led by the Patriot Guard Riders to the Cemetery for burial. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to a charity of your choice. The register book may be signed and condolences sent to the family online @ cunninghamfuneralhomesok.com Arrangements are entrusted to Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
