Wanda Jean (Parton) Weger 87, was born on December 24, 1933, to Cecil and Olva (Hall) Parton. She was a longtime resident of Colbert, Oklahoma, and entered her eternal home on April 22, 2021.
Wanda grew up in Achille, Oklahoma, until she married Bobby J. Weger on April 7, 1950. They made their home in Colbert, Oklahoma, with their 11 children.
Wanda worked at Texoma Medical Center in Labor and Delivery for 30 plus years. She also worked in the nursery taking care of the newborns.
A highlight of her week was attending the Coleman Avenue Church of Christ where she enjoyed fellowship with her church family. A few of her past-time pleasures were reading the Bible, playing cards, playing dominoes, and listening to music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Helen Wells, sons Bobby Gene and Danny Lynn, daughters Terri Lou Langford and Mary Ann Little and great-grandson Cainen Little.
Wanda is survived by sons: Michael (wife Molly) of Bells Texas, Audie, Ronnie (wife Julie), Randy (wife Missie) of Colbert; daughters: Kaye Solomon (husband Tom), Patti Bell (husband Terry) of Colbert. Sandy Meek (husband Keith), of Idabel, Oklahoma, son-in-law Jerry Langford of Randolph, Texas, and daughter-in-law Teresa Weger of Colbert.
She had 37 grandchildren and spouses, 49 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Grandsons Jason Sorrell, Josh Weger, Brian Weger, Colt Weger, Chad Little, Jamie Weger, Riley Carter, Cade Bell, and Shane Weger.
Honorary Pallbearers: Grandsons Justin Sorrell, Ryan Weger, Aaron Weger, Carter Weger, Coby Young, Chance Weger, Chase Weger, and Tyler Weger.
Family visitation will be Sunday, April 25, from 2-4 p.m. at Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma. Services will be Monday, April 26, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Colman Avenue Church of Christ in Colbert, Oklahoma
Memorials may be made to the Coleman Avenue Church of Christ.
