Bert Weger Jr. 83, of Colbert, Oklahoma passed away Friday morning August 24, 2018 at the Homestead of Denison. He was born September 11, 1934 in Colbert, Oklahoma to Bert and Richie Taylor Weger Sr. and was a lifelong Colbert resident. He attended Colbert schools and was a Army National Guard Veteran retiring in 1994. He Married Mamie Wilson February 6, 1969 at the First Baptist Church in Durant, OK. and was a charter member of the Coleman Avenue Church of Christ in Colbert. He was a bank loan officer for many years with the First National Bank in Durant.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and Patricia Nell (Jones).

Surviving is his Wife Mamie Weger of Colbert, OK. Daughter Jennifer Weaver and husband John of Hendrix, OK. Sons Steve Weger and wife Patricia and Gary Weger all of Colbert, OK. and Kendall Weger and wife Laura of Durant, OK. 10 Grandchildren David, Lecy, Jon, Raymond, Harlei, Mikayla, Gabriella, Emilee, Hannah and Allison. 4 Great Grandchildren Markus, Mackynzi, Jazson and Issac. Sisters Ann Kurtz and husband Allen and Charlyne Gage all of Colbert, OK. and Sandra Thompson of Sadler, TX. Numerous Nieces, Nephews and cousins also survive.

A Funeral Service for Bert Weger, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday morning August 27, 2018 at the Coleman Avenue Church of Christ in Colbert, OK. with Richard Gage officiating. Visitation will begin at the Church at 10:00 a.m. with the service to follow. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert, OK. with a family lunch to be served at the church after the Cemetery Service.
