Richard William Steele 76, of Colbert, Oklahoma passed away Saturday morning August 22, 2020 at his home with his family at his side. He was born February 20, 1944 in Denison, Texas to Richard D. and Rosie F. Steele.
Also preceding in death is a Son Billy Jack Steele, Three Brothers Willie Joe Steele, John H. Steele and Anndee Steele.
He was a great Father, Grandfather and Uncle and worked hard for all he had. He made alot of people smile and feel loved. Richard (Willie) was loved by most everyone that knew him. He was well known for his work as a security officer at Grandpappy Point and Highport Marinas.
Surviving is his Wife Veila Ann Steele of the home Colbert, OK. Sons John H. Mueller, Bill Haggard and Richard L. Steele. Stepson Rob Ricketson of Washington State. Brothers Arnold Steele, James R. Steele and David C. Steele all of Cartwright, OK. Sisters Carol A. Peebles of Achille, OK. and Marie Mason of Cartwright, OK. Nephews Dusty Peebles and David L. Peebles. Nieces Donna C. House and Ruth M. Peebles and many other Nieces and Nephews, cousins and Family Mary Sue Campbell, Hank Jones Mason. Grandkids Tristan, Dallen, Kindell and April.
A Funeral for Richard William Steele will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Cunningham Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert, OK.
Family night will be held from 6-7 Tuesday evening at the Funeral Home.
