A service will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Dalton-Holmes Chapel for Selma "Snooks" Anderson Roberson, 76, Durant, who died Monday, May 2, 2005, at her residence. Bro. Danny Roberson and Bro. Charles Howard will officiate.

The daughter of Lilbren Dennis Anderson and Delphia Delores Proffitt, she was born Wednesday, November 7, 1928, in Earlsboro.

She married Clyde Dossie Roberson in 1947 in Kemp.

She enjoyed collecting and restoring antiques, knitting and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Larry Michael Roberson; half-brother Roy Edgar Anderson; brothers Clarence Lee Anderson and Daniel Dorris Anderson; stepbrothers J.C. Vaughn and John Monroe Vaughn; and sisters Bessie Marvel Sturdivan, Clara Mae Cesar, Ruby Bell Station and Lelta Margeline Booker.

She is survived by son Clyde Danny Roberson and wife Betty, Wylie, Texas; daughter Tonja Renee Roberson, Durant; nieces Linda Hayton and Connie Burnett, both of Durant, who feel like daughters; brother Grover Thomas Anderson, Ravenna, Texas; sister Thelma Ina Baggio, Durant; stepsisters Ruby Mae Simpson, Durant, and Willie Faye Arnold, Wylie; half-brothers Jackie Lawrence Anderson and wife Ramona, Garland, Texas; and Dennis Earl Anderson and wife Patricia, Denison, Texas; grandchildren Tara Roberson, Alayna Stockton and Anne Roberson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Colbert, with Danny Roberson, Mark Rodgers, Thomas Anderson, Joe Staton, Don Staton and Ron Burnett serving as pallbearers.

Family hour will be from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
