Christine Odella Mattingly 79, of Colbert, Oklahoma passed away Monday October 14, 2019 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born April 7, 1940 in Durant, Oklahoma to Girald Edward and Hazel Gordon Coffman and attended Achille, OK schools and lived in Achille before moving to Colbert in 1978 where she has lived the past 41 years. She was a meat cutter for Safeway for over 17 years before retirement and was of the Christian Faith.
She was preceded in death by her first two Husbands and Son Bobby Mattingly and Brothers Douglas, Warren and Paul. Surviving is her Husband David Burpo of Colbert, OK. Daughter Deborah Mattingly of Sherman, TX. Sons Brian Mattingly of Colbert, OK. and Ricky Mattingly of Calera, OK. Grandchildren Krista and Keri Mattingly, Cassi and Rylee Mattingly. 4 Great Grandchildren and three Sisters Syble Brown, Barbara Jack and Odessa Trout.
A Graveside Service for Christine Mattingly will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday Morning October 17, 2019 at the Garden of Memory Cemetery Pavilion in Colbert, OK with burial to follow. Pastor Joe Beshirs of The Lighthouse in Colbert will be officiating. Family night will be Wednesday evening from 6-7 at the Funeral Home.
