Graveside services for Lena Mae Morrison Jumper will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert.
Rev. Les Peevyhouse will officiate.
Lena was born September 1, 1935, in Cartwright, Oklahoma to Frank Emmett and Cassie Lena Mahan Morrison. She passed from this life on January 7, 2010, in Roosevelt, Utah at the age of 74.
Lena was raised in Cartwright and graduated from Colbert High School. She returned to Colbert in 1972 where she worked at the First National Bank of Colbert and Homes Furniture in Sherman, Texas. She also worked at the First United Bank and Trust in Durant where she retired in 1998 after 20 years of service.
Lena was a member of the First Baptist Church of Colbert and loved her Sunday School Class. She enjoyed working at the bank and helping others.
She loved her family dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Cassie Morrison; brother, Emmett Morrison and grandson, Jerred Jumper.
Survivors include her children, Cheri Castello of Vernal, Utah; Carri and husband Dusty Rhodes of Kenefic; Clay and wife Theresa Jumper of Springerville, Arizona; sister-in-law, Barbara Morrison of Colbert; aunt Payton Guy, Denison, Texas; special friend, John Cary; 8 grandchildren, Shannon Wilson, Bucky Rhodes, Chris Neachan, Cory Neachan, Cami Byrd, Jerett Jumper, Jenae Jumper, and Jamie Jumper; as well as twelve greatgrandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Condolences can be sent to the family at dhfh@communicomm.com. Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home is handling the local funeral arrangements.
