Merdys Lanelle Goodin 79, of Colbert, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday Morning August 5, 2020 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born August 29, 1940 in Calera, Oklahoma to Robert and Ruth Burcham Baugh. She attended Colbert, OK. schools and Married Billy Wayne Goodin October 30, 1956 in Colbert and he preceded her in death in 2015 and was also preceded in death by her Parents, Brother Gary Baugh and Grandson Jarid Taylor.
She worked for Texoma Medical Center for many years as a PBX operator before retiring in 2005.
Surviving are Two Sons Gregory Goodin of Calera, OK. and Craig Goodin and wife Stacy of Colbert, OK. Daughter Lori Watkins of Lewisville, TX. Six Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren, Three Brothers, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.
A Funeral Service for Merdys Lanelle Goodin will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday Afternoon August 10, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Cartwright, Oklahoma with Pastor Troy Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Mosier, Chad Goodin, Chase Goodin, Kaleb Cockrill, and Tim Ellis.
There will be no family night however the church will be open at 11:30 a.m. prior to the service for visitation. The register book may be signed and condolences sent to the family online @ cunninghamfuneralhomesok.com
