Crystal Lea Gibby 44 Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 23, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Colbert, Oklahoma Officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Harris and Rev. Roy Vinson. Serving as pallbearers will be David Gibby, Bobby Gibby, Weldon Gibby, Phillip McKinney, Buck Wilson, Ronny Gibby Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Hopkins and Shane Corbett. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Colbert, Oklahoma
Crystal Lea Gibby was born on Thursday, February 27, 1964 in Arlington, Texas to Thurman”Ed” and Charlotte (Rice) Cole. She passed away on January 20, 2009 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 44 years, 10 months and 23 days. Crystal married Kevin Gibby on November 28, 1986 in Colbert, Oklahoma. Mrs. Gibby was a graduate of Colbert High School in 1982. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Colbert. Crystal attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and Grayson College. She had worked for Knights Furniture in Sherman Texas and Conway in Denison, Texas Crystal was also a teacher’s aide at Terrell Elementary in Pre-K in Denison. Mrs. Gibby loved spending time with her children and family, fishing, camping and snow skiing. Crystal helped with the Bike-A-Thon in Colbert for St. Judes Children Hospital.
Her Survivors Include, Husband Kevin Gibby of the Colbert home Daughter Lindsey Gibby of the Colbert home, Son Joshua Gibby of the Colbert home, Mother Charlotte Cole of Colbert, Oklahoma Brothers Charles “Ed" Cole of Colbert, Oklahoma, Craig Cole of Colbert, Oklahoma
Mrs. Gibby was preceded in Death by: Father, Thurman Cole.
