Mat Bledsoe of Calera, Oklahoma passed from this life on November 26, 2022. He was born on June 22, 1974 in Denison, Texas to David and Jodie (Smith) Bledsoe. In 2005, Mat married Cindy Baugus in Calera, Oklahoma.
Mat was a cattle rancher. He was a certified Master Cattleman and a member of the Bryan County Cattle Producers. He loved classic cars and owned a 1979 Chevy Z28 and a 1962 Chevy truck, and was known in his younger days to enjoy some racing.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Baugus of Calera, Oklahoma their children, Noah, Rowan and Finn, and a special mention for his niece Katie Baugus-Parker. Also he had several nieces and nephews that were all very special to him, his nieces, Taylor, Brooke, Lexie, Autumn, and Camren, and his nephews, Max, Makoy, Kyle, Alex, and Preston. He is also survived by his brothers Mike, and Mitch and Mitch’s wife Netta as well as his father David Bledsoe. Also left to cherish his memory are his aunts, uncles, nieces, and many cousins. Preceding him in death are his mother Jodie Bledsoe, and his grandparents.
Family Hour is scheduled from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday December 5, 2022 at the United Methodist Church in Colbert with Karen Slater officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Garden of Memory in Colbert following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mat’s funeral expenses.
