Mrs. Birdie Hazle Hodge, 101, of Cameron, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019, at her residence. Graveside services will be held in Caddo Cemetery in Caddo, OK, on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Mrs. Hodge was born September 29, 1918, in Oklahoma, to Luther Eugene and Lillian (Tharp) Simons. She graduated from Cedar Bayou High School in Baytown, TX in 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loys Buford Hodge in 2015 and her son, Luther Dale Hodge in 2017. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Rox Anne Hodge of Cameron; three grandchildren, John Hodge, Rhonda Fincher and husband Rodney all of Cameron and Michelle Pinkerton and husband Tod of Friendswood; six great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron. Condolences for the family may be left at www.green-pattersonfuneralhome.com.
