Delores Ann Sherefield Smith was born on April 8, 1943 in Bennington, OK to Albert and Mildred Laymon Sherefield. Delores passed from this life on December 4, 2018 in Plano, TX at the age of 75.
Delores was born and raised in Bryan County. She married Donald Smith and they have been blessed with 53 years of marriage. Delores was devoted caregiver, who dedicated her life to taking care of children until her retirement. Delores enjoyed working search word books, watching TV and she dearly loved her family and her beloved pets.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johnny Sherefield and nephew, Gary Dale Powell.
Delores is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Donald Smith; sister, Joan Powell and husband Gary; brother, Donnie Sherefield wife Patsy; nephew, Stephen Powell and wife Edie; nieces, Angela Jackson and Lisa Sherefield and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 7, 2018 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Jesse West will officiate. Interment will follow in Bokchito Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
