Services for Edmond Truitte Risner will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the Faith Baptist Church in Bokchito. Oklahoma, with Bro. Scott Melton officiating. Interment will follow at the Bokchito Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Dill, Jimmy Dill, Steve Jesse, Eddie Ray Phillips, Charlie Tyree,Vincent Tyree .

Family will receive family and friends at the family home on Wednesday, December 30 from 10:00 A.M. until 9 P.M. in Durant, Oklahoma.

Edmond Truitte Risner was born on Monday, April 5, 1920 in Bennington, Oklahoma to William and Ivy (Lawson) Risner. He passed from this life on Saturday, December 26, 2009 in Durant, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 21 days. He married Jesse Williams on May 10, 1940 in the front yard of their Bokchito home. Mr. Risner was a member of the Armstrong Baptist Church in Armstrong, Oklahoma.

Truitte loved to hunt,fish and be with his family. He also enjoyed working with wood and gardening.

He is survived by his sons,Dean Risner Madill, Oklahoma, William Risner and wife Mary of Oro Grande, California, Richard Risner of Oro Grande, California, Adoptive Son, Jearl Hitt of Beatty, Oregon, 6 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren Mr. Risner was preceded in death by his Parents, William Edmond Truitte Risner
