Janna Frances (Jackson) Post passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 88. She was born on July 17, 1934, in Liberty, Texas, to Henry Carson Sr. and Ofa May (Wren) Jackson.
Janna lived in Bennington most of her life, except for the one year that she lived in Silver City, New Mexico. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and almost any craft. She loved working outside in her yard or with livestock.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sharon White of Jasper, Alabama, granddaughter Janna White of Calera, Alabama, grandson Carson White of Jasper, Alabama, great grandson Cree White of Jasper, Alabama, great granddaughter Ophelia White, and great grandson Asa White, along with one brother Henry Carson Jackson Jr. of Bennington, Oklahoma.
Preceding Janna in death are her parents H. C. Jackson Sr and Ofa May Jackson and her son Billy Mark Post.
Family hour will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 3-5:00pm at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 11:00am at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Keith McIntire officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Bokchito Cemetery in Bokchito, Oklahoma.
