Francile Margaret Greathouse a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born in Matoy, Oklahoma on December 4, 1923 to Earl and Neomi (Harkey) McClaskey. Francile married Wendell (Bill) Greathouse in Bennington, Oklahoma in March of 1937.
Francile was a member of Old Church Presbyterian in Bennington, Oklahoma. She dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. Francile and he husband Bill were married for 71 years before he passed from this life.
Mrs. Greathouse is survived by her son, Gary Greathouse of Waco, Texas; sister, Betty Borys of Dallas, Texas; brother, Harold McClaskey of Grand Prairie, Texas; and grandchildren, Lance Johnson of Cleveland, Mississippi, Quinn, Lorrie and Leigh all from Waco and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Greathouse was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Neomi McClaskey; husband, Bill Greathouse; and daughter, Pamela Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 2 at the Bokchito Cemetery with Bro. Jesse West officiating.
