Lois J. Flynn, 95, of Chickasha, formerly of Bokchito, died Monday, February 8, 2016. The daughter of Joe Bascom Cross and Minnie Bell (Rose) Cross, she was born December 8, 1920 in Bryan County, Oklahoma.
Lois was born and raised in Bryan County and lived there until recently. Lois married Talmadge Flynn in 1938 in Durant, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1999. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, quilting, and reading. Lois was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Bokchito and in her community for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Talmadge Flynn, four brothers, and two sisters.
Lois is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, February 11, 2015 at the Bokchito Cemetery in Bokchito, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
