Chuck Ellevold passed from this life on Thursday, August 26, 2021, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 69. He was born on September 3, 1951, in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Laverne and Eileen (Flodquist) Ellevold. He married the love of his life, Betty on January 11, 1974, in Victorville, California.
Chuck served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for eight years. He enjoyed watching sports, was a big OU Sooner fan, and going to the casino. His greatest joy was his kids and grandkids, and spending time with them made him the happiest. He always talked about going back home to Minnesota for the winters and snow. Chuck was a jack of all trades and held many different positions during his adult life.
Left behind to cherish Chuck’s memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Betty of the home. His sons: Robert and Leslie and their family, Randy and Valerie and their family, daughter Kathy and her family. Grandsons Caleb Ellevold and Eric Williams and one granddaughter Brianna Ellevold. Chuck leaves behind his two special little buddies, Haydin and Carma Williams. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Preceding him in death are his parents Laverne and Eileen, and one sister Christine.
A family hour will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 6-8:00pm at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Bokchito Cemetery in Bokchito, Oklahoma, at 2:00pm.
