Johnny Dawson passed away in McKinney, Texas on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the age of 56 years 11 months and 29 days. He was born to Harry and Charlene (Rinehart) Dawson in Durant, Oklahoma on Tuesday, January 25, 1955.
Johnny was a man who enjoyed many things. He especially loved automobiles and watched Nascar. Johhny had a gentle nature and loved animals, and they loved him in return. He was of the Baptist Faith. But, most of all, Johnny’s sister and his family meant the most to him.
Mr. Dawson is survived by his sister, Sherri Dawson-Thompson and husband James of Dallas, Texas; as close as a sister, Cathy Reddick of Mesquite, Texas.
Mr. Dawson was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Charlene Dawson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Rev. Jim Pena officiating. Interment will follow at Bokchito Cemetery, Bokchito, Oklahoma.
