Jason Lee Carter was born on November 11, 1975 in Durant, Oklahoma to Dean and Terry Carter. He passed from this life on May 18, 2021.
Survivors include his mother Dean Bernard, dogs Boo and Daisy, and numerous aunts, uncles, and other family members. Jason worked at Bryan County Sand and Gravel. His hobbies include playing with his dogs, building projects, working on cars, tinkering with electronics, traveling to new places and watching movies.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday May 22, 2021 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. Reverend Randy Lewis will officiate. Family night will be Thursday May 20, 2021 at 6:30pm. Burial will be in Bokchito Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joey Rosson, Jerry Jeffcoat, Luther Baker, Allen Harper, Doug Jeffcoat, and Justin McAden. Honorary pallbearers are uncles William Jeffcoat, Edward Jeffcoat, L.W. Jeffcoat and Tom Rutherford, and cousins Melissa Smith, Shauna Harper, and Lucretia Newton.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents Wilkey and Dortha Jeffcoat and his stepfather Jerry Bernard.
