Services for Bonnie Delores Brackett, 72, Durant, who passed away Friday morning December 18, 2009, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, Durant will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Dalton-Holmes Chapel with Ross Phillips officiating. Ms. Brackett was born on October 25, 1937, in Denison, Texas, to Charlie and Ruby Maddings. On May 22, 1955, she married Claude Wayne Brackett.
Bonnie was a resident of Bryan County and Grayson County for a big part of her life. She lived in Bokchito, Denison, and the latter part of her life in Durant. In her younger years, she worked for Texas Instruments and later for Sherman Development Center. Her greatest passions were spending time with her family, gardening, tending to her flowers and watching the NBA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Thomas Moman, and the father of her children, Wayne Brackett. Our Mother and Nanny leaves to cherish her memory her two daughter, Tammy Willis & husband Mike of Durant; Lori Roberts & husband David of Denison; granddaughters: Kristi Roberts of Denison, Amanda Counce & husband Chris, Staci Willis, and great grandson Jase Counce all of Durant. Interment will be at the Bokchito Cemetery, Bokchito.
