Mark Boling, a resident of Bokchito, Oklahoma, left this life and joined his Lord and Savior on Friday November 8, 2019 at the age of 63. Family hour will be from 6-7:00 PM on Tuesday November 12th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday November 13th at the Faith Baptist Church in Bokchito, Oklahoma with Bro. Randy Lewis and Bro. Phillip Rowland officiating. His final resting place will be the Bokchito Cemetery with Steve Wiley, Dennis Boyd, Walter Prentice, Jimmy Dill, Eddie Carlton, Tony Rose, Jeff Campbell, and Keith Citty serving as pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers will be Larry Conditt, Eddie Mac Phillips, Pat McCullough and Dan Lyday.

Mark was born in Hugo and moved to Bokchito, Oklahoma in 1969 with his parents Bill and Marion Boling. They worked in their grocery store and ranched. He was involved in the county fair in grade school by showing hogs and calves, judging livestock, which he continued to do for many years. He married Tanja (Meador) Boling in 1977 and they were married for 42 years. They raised their children, Cody, Alisha and ShiAnn to be actively involved in showing and judging. Mark worked for Texoma Instruments for 30 years then started his own business. He helped Tanja in her business as well as ranching. Mark served on the Bokchito School Board for 22 years. He continued to serve on the Bryan County Fair Board for over 17 years and was the Beef Superintendent for 15 years. Mark was an active member of the Masonic Lodge of Bokchito since 1979 where he had held the offices of Worshipful Master, Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Senior Deacon, Junior Decon, Tyler and Senior Steward. He had been elected President to the Little Dixie Shriners Club starting January 2020. Mark was a member of the baptist faith.

Mr. Boling is survived by his beloved wife, Tanja of the home; children, Cody Boling of Bokchito, Oklahoma, ShiAnn Boling of Colbert, Oklahoma, and Alisha Edelen of Bokchito, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Thomas Boling of Coleman, Oklahoma, Colby Boling of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Jacey Edelen of Bokchito, Oklahoma, and JW Edelen of Bokchito, Oklahoma; brothers, Rickey Boling and Donna Boling and their son Casey Boling of Hugo, Oklahoma and Steven Boling and wife Jennifer and their children of Hugo, Oklahoma; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mr. Boling was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Marion Boling. Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma www.holmescoffeymurray.com
