Camrin Lane Abbott

Camrin Abbott, 20, of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed away after a courageous battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy on May 8, 2026. Camrin was born on October 27, 2005, in Greenville, Texas to Melissa Sue Abbott. He Graduated from Durant High School in 2025.

Camrin had a passion for gaming, especially APEX Legends on his Xbox, where he built a close community of friends from all over the country. He was fascinated by space and loved anything connected to it. Camrin had a kind heart and a personality that made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed beyond measure.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Duane Abbott and Leslie Risley; and great-grandmothers Thelma Lumpkins and Bonnie Risley.

Camrin is survived by his parents, Joe and Melissa Tutt of Bokchito; his siblings Felicity Vickers, Austin Abbott, and Hayley Abbott; brother-in-law Zeke and sister-in-law Aleisha. He is also survived by his grandparents Peggy Risley, Coushatta, Louisiana, Tommy and Connie Johnson of Durant, Oklahoma, Robert and Caryn Tutt of Garland, Texas: great grandmothers Shelby Dill of Durant, Ok and Pat Tutt of Royse City, Texas; his nieces Saturn, Ariel, and nephew Bellamy; and his aunts and uncles Shaun and Tricia Walker, James and Jeralyn, Risley, numerous cousins and other loved ones.

Camrin also leaves behind his best friends Roy Kincannon, Konner "Mad" Post and Mason "Blaze" Post, along with many other gaming friends who became like family to him.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Big Creek Chapel 29033 US Highway 70 Bokchito, OK 74726 with Bro. Ross Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Bokchito Cemetery, with Austin Abbott, Zeke Ball, Tommy Johnson, Josh Castleberry, Chris and Alex Valeri serving as pallbearers. Family hour will be held on Thursday May 14, 2026, at Browns Funeral Service in Durant.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
