Victoria Shastid, a veteran of the United States Army, and resident of Bennington left this life too soon on November 7, 2019 at the age of 29. She was born in Irving, Texas to AJ Shastid and Lisa (Hall) Shastid on April 3, 1990. Family hour will be from 6-8:00 PM on Saturday November 9th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 PM Sunday November 10th graveside at the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma with George Toma officiating. Her pallbearers will be Randy Grooves, Lance Thompson, Conner Thompson, Jerry Miller, Tyler Richardson, James Graham, Jerry Graham, and Darren Shastid. The honorary pallbearers will be Jakeb Munholland and Jace Thompson.

Victoria proudly served her country in the United States Army for six years. She cherished her two beautiful daughters and loved to spend time with them. Victoria showed her loved by cooking delicious meals for those she cared about. She felt blessed to have beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces in her life.

Victoria is survived by her daughters, Charitie Massangale and Rylee Shastid of Bennington, Oklahoma; parents, AJ Shastid and wife Lisa of Bennington, Oklahoma; sisters, Stephanie Miller and husband Jerry of Durant, Oklahoma, Lacy Shastid and husband Tyler Richardson of Bennington, Oklahoma, Sarah Thompson and husband Lance of Bennington, Oklahoma and Kassie Ragan and husband Clint of Diamond Head, Mississippi; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Faull, Savannah Walley, Latosha Walley, Conner Thompson, Karlie Thompson, Jakeb Munholland, Madison Thompson, Jace Thompson, Karter Richardson, C.J. and Keegan Ragan, and Rhea Ragan; aunts and uncles, Pat Johnson of Bennington, Oklahoma, Talinda Hall of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Ray Shastid and wife Rebecca of Bennington, Oklahoma, and David Shastid and wife Vicky of Wilson, Oklahoma; she is also survived by her great-nieces, Emmerson Isaacs, Lilllianna McCune, and Iyanna Tran.

he was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyd & Lenora Shastid and Vivous & Evelyn Hall; aunts, Letha Shastid & Rita Gale Venable; and also preceded in death by her uncle, David Hall.
