Levon (Lee) Martin, a resident of Bennington, Oklahoma, joined her Savior in Bennington on January 7th, 2019 at the age of 63. Family hour will be from 2-4:00 PM Sunday January 13th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A service in honor of her life will be at 3:00 PM on Monday January 14th at the Big Creek Chapel in Bokchito, Oklahoma with Bro. Phillip Rowland and Bro. Anthony Williams officiating. Her final resting place will be the Bennington Cemetery with John Haislip Jr., Chris Reynolds, Jerry Haislip, Lucas Williams, Robert Cox, Tracy Allen, and Chris Trusty serving as her pallbearers.
Levon was the daughter of Archie Chester Haislip and Catherine (Graham) Haislip. She enjoyed watching a good western on television and spending time with her church family. Levon cherished her family and looked forward to any time they spent together.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her children, Brandy Martin of Bennington, Oklahoma and Michael Martin and wife Morgan (Breanne) of Del City, Oklahoma: grandkids, Jakeb Hales and Makayla Hales both of Durant, Oklahoma, Brittany Martin and Jesse Martin both of Bennington, Oklahoma, and Aliva Martin and Alexander Martin for of Del City, Oklahoma: sisters, Devon Harvill of Rowlett, Texas and Dovie Wigley of San Jacinto, California: brothers, James Haislip of Mead, Oklahoma and John Ray Haislip of Bennington, Oklahoma: she is also survived in life by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Lee Haislip Robbins and Janet Allen Knight: brothers, William Chester Haislip, Jerry Haislip, Gerry Haislip, Dale Haislip, and Stoneman Haislip: she was also preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Ava Martin.
