Janet Wanda (Haislip) Allen Knight, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, and beloved family member passed away peacefully in Durant, Oklahoma on October 31, 2018 at the age of 66. Janet was born on May 11th, 1952 to Archie Chester and Catherine “Kitty” (Graham) Haislip.

Janet touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. She never met a stranger. Janet was a loving homemaker in her later years and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She had a huge passion for animals, especially her chihuahuas, like “Little Bit”.

Mrs. Knight is survived by her daughter, Tammy Hoyle and husband Jeff of Durant, Oklahoma, and their children, Steven Pittman of Durant, Kadence Hoyle of Durant, Kylie Hoyle of Durant, and Jacob Byrd of Durant; sons, William Allen of Bennington, and Tracy Allen and wife Krystal of Caney, and children, Willie Allen of Caney and Lydia Allen; siblings, Dovie Wigley of San Qacinto, California, Devon Harvill and husband John of Rowlett, Texaa, Levon Martin and Marty Haislip both of Bennington, Oklahoma, Mary Lynne Haislip of Yucipa, California, James Hailsip of Mead, Oklahoma, John Haislip and wife Vivian of Bennington, Oklahoma; and also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by parents, Archie and Catherine Haislip; brothers, Jerry Haislip, Dale Haislip, Gerry Haislip, WC “Bill” Haislip, Stonmon Haislip; sister, Barbara Haislip; sisters-in-law, Thelda Haislip and Sue Haislip McDuffie.

Family hour will be from 3-4:00 PM Sunday November 4th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday November 5th at the Family Worship Center, Big Creek Chapel in Bokchito, Oklahoma with Bro. Phillip Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma.
