Services for Rosella Ann Potts Staton of Yuba, Oklahoma, who passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010, in Denison, Texas, at the age of 66 years, 4 months, 14 days will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the Yuba Baptist Church. Rev. Jay Perry, Rev. Marty Hutchens, and Rev. David Malphrus will officiate.
Burial will be in the Albany Cemetery , Albany, Oklahoma. Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.
Family hour will be 7-8 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2010, at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.
Ann was born April 25, 1944 in Durant, Oklahoma to Theodore Roosevelt & Anna Juanita Dobson Potts.
She married Joe Staton on July 1, 1961.
She loved to fish, cook, spend time at the lake with her sister, Mary Ann and always looked forward to going to Lake Fork.
She loved her grandkids and flowers. She always had lots of flowers for Joe to water. She took care of family members that were sick.
Ann is survived by her husband, Joe Staton, Yuba, Oklahoma; Daughter and Son-in-law: JoAnn & Rick Steward, Albany, Oklahoma; Son and Daughter-in-law: Phillip & Judy Staton, Campbell, Texas; Grandchildren:Brandi Gibby & Husband, Chad, Achille, Oklahoma, David Staton & Wife, Kim, Marietta, Oklahoma, Bradly Staton, Ladonia, Texas; Brittany Morris, Sulphur Springs, Texas; Jessica Steward, Durant, Oklahoma; Heather Staton, Yantis, Texas, Brooke Foley, Commerce, Texas; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: James & Evelyn Potts, Bokchito, Oklahoma; Larry & Linda Potts, Durant, Oklahoma; Jerry Potts, Bokchito, Oklahoma; Gene Potts, Albany, Oklahoma; Sister and Brother-in-law:Mary & Luther Hurst, Emory, Texas; Great-Grandchildren: Brayden Morris, Asher Gibby, Kayson Gibby, Kaygan Staton, & Karrington Staton; along with Several Nieces and Nephews Ann was preceded in death by her parents; Brothers, Frankie Potts, Joe Potts, Mickey Potts; Ted Potts and Sisters, Wilma Williams & Oleta Richardson.
