Carrie Lynn Marr Ray

Carrie Lynne Marr Ray also known as "Ms. Shimmy Giggles Clown",60, of Euless, Texas passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2023. Carrie was born to her parents Ronnie Marr and Sandra Marr in Fort Worth, Texas.

Carrie attended high school at Richland High School in North Richland Hills, Texas. Throughout the years, she had several amazing careers. She was a Project Manager and owned multiple businesses, Home Decor Outlet & Shimmy Giggle Entertainment. Carrie became a professional clown and was a member of Happi Tyme Clown Alley in Arlington, Texas, Cowtown Clown Alley in Hurst, Texas, and International Clown Association. She was known for clowning around and making balloon animals throughout the DFW. Carrie loved leaving lasting memories and smiles on the faces of everyone she met. She loved giving to others, being creative, shopping for the best deals, trying new restaurants, going on cruises, going to the casino, and loved exploring new opportunities. She had a big soft spot for animals; she loved her bunnies Boo and Loo and loved her granddog Ellie May.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandmother and son, father Ronnie Eugene Marr, mother Sandra Yvonne Marr, Grandmother Melba Marr, and son Richard Ray.

She is survived by her loving husband Rickey Ray of Euless, Texas; grandfather Louis (L.E) Marr; her daughter Stormy Finley of Euless, Texas; daughter and husband Misty & Greg Arwood of Weatherford, Texas; daughter and husband Rachel & Jackie Pierce of Waco, Texas; her two brothers and their wives David and Debbie Marr of Mineral Wells, Texas and Randy and Monda Marr of Arlington, Texas; her grandchildren, Jalynne Gill, Lauren and Sidney Bradley, Justin, Korey & Jessica Ray, Trinity, Abby, Emma, and Tyler Arwood. Two great grandchildren: Autumn & Myles Ray. Sister Kyra Dale-Ries, Brother Terry Scott Dale, Sister-in-law Maryland Daniels, Brother-in-law, and wife Russell and LaFrieda Ray and brother-in-law Billy Ray. Including numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carrie also had many friends and clowns that she truly cherished. She is loved by many and will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Carrie’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday May 10, 2023, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chape. Interment will follow in Albany Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Funeral Home for burial expenses.
