Ruth Lee Matney, 98 of Wilson, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014.

She was born on September 7, 1915 in Albany, Oklahoma to the late Benton King Sullivan and Fannie Jo Gannon Sullivan.

Ruth was born and raised in Albany and moved to Durant, Oklahoma after meeting her first husband Roy Ingram. She later married Robert Johnson and after his death in 1989 she married Looney Matney in 1994 and moved to Madill, Oklahoma. After his death Ruth moved to Wilson in 2001 to be closer to her daughter Betty.

Ruth was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and loved taking care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by: Daughter Betty Lou Henry, Wilson, Oklahoma; 5 Grandchildren: Terry Henry, Wilson, Oklahoma; Randell Henry, Milo, Oklahoma; Ray & Carla Gillaspy, Ratliff City, Oklahoma; Kim Henry, Wilson, Oklahoma; Shelly Henry, Wilson, Oklahoma; Vernon Musgrove, Vinita, Oklahoma; 8 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands; Robert Johnson and Looney Matney, 2 brothers; Benton Odell Sullivan Arthur Sullivan, sister; Cecile Hubbard, grandchildren; Bart, Buzz Jr., Ricky Henry, Linda Musgrove and Kathleen Henry, great grandchild; Jason Musgrove.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 am to 9 pm at Watts Funeral Home , Madill, Oklahoma. Services will be Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 2 pm at the First Church of the Nazarene, Durant, Oklahoma. John Kinsey will officiate the services. Music arranged by Linda Carroway.

Interment will be at the Albany Cemetery, Albany, Oklahoma.

Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home , Madill, Oklahoma.
