June Beal, 85, of Albany passed away April 5, 2012 in Denison, TX. June was born March 18, 1927 in Albany, OK to Ralph and Eunice (Hultsman) Wise. She is a lifelong resident of Bryan County and she attended school at Albany. June married Malcom “Doff” Beal December 28, 1946 in Albany, OK. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1998. She worked as a Data Processor, seamstress and was a housewife. June enjoyed sewing, knitting, and watching All My Children until it went off the air.
She is preceded in death by her husband Doff, daughter Julia Lane Beal Loftis, her parents Eunice and Ralph Wise, sister Sue Powell and twin sister Jane Stark.
June is survived by her daughter Vicki Beal Anthony and husband Rodney of Brighton, Co, son Stephen Hugh Beal and wife Janet of Garland, TX, grandchildren Jennifer Loftis Walker of Durant, James Loftis and wife Brook of Jay, OK, Stephanie Carlson and husband Cory of Garland, TX, Christopher Beal of Garland, TX, Andrea Tankersley and husband Brennan of Arlington, TX, Katy Schlomach and husband Benjamin of Live Oak, TX, Megan Battles and husband Dustin of Greenville, South Carolina, one brother Kellye Wise of Hillsboro, Oregon, and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 9, 2012 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jackie Robinson officiating. Family hour will be Sunday, April 8, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Albany Cemetery with Christopher Beal, Kenneth Curtis, David Stark, Charles Linder, Cory Carlson and Brennan Tankersley serving as pallbearers.
