Marvin Albert Schweigert was born January 14, 1953, at New Underwood, South Dakota, to Ruben and Cornelia Schweigert, and passed away Tuesday, May 10th, 2022, at the age of 69 years old.
Marvin attended Wasta Schools in South Dakota. He was a resident of the Watonga Community since 1981, where he was a member of the Oasis Church. He worked for Watonga Street Department for ten years, until he was elected as City of Watonga Street Commissioner, and he held that position for 20 years, bringing his total time working for the City of Watonga to 30 years. Marvin was an avid fisherman and hunter; he enjoyed the outdoors. He was also very good with carpentry and enjoyed doing that whenever he got a chance. Marvin was a family man, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He married Linda Biesman at Rapid City, South Dakota on May 13, 1972; they were only a few days shy of 50 wonderful years of marriage.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, three sisters, Irene Price, Anita Krammer, and Pamela Giese.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Schweigert of the home in Watonga.

Ten grandchildren…….………….….. Joshua, Brittany, Autumn, Jessica, Colton, Wyatt, Sage Marvin, Jackson, Morgan, and Tessa.
5 great-grandchildren………….…… Jayden, Kale, Michael, Samuel, and Christian.
Memorial services for Mr. Marvin Schweigert will be held Friday, May 20, 2022, at 2:00p.m. at the Oasis Church in Watonga, Oklahoma. Burial will follow, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
