Ricky Ray was born December 26, 1955 at Watonga, Oklahoma to R.B. and Luella (Milligan) Ray and passed away Saturday May 5, 2018 at the age of 62.

Ricky was a resident of the Watonga community his entire life. He worked for Unit Petroleum and worked in the oilfield as a pumper for 25 years. Before his work in the oilfield he worked for Blaine County District 1. Ricky graduated from Watonga High School in 1974 and attended the United Methodist Church of Watonga.

Ricky loved spending time with his children and his three grandchildren. He loved fishing, sports, and enjoyed coming home from work, relaxing in his pool and cooking out.

He married Cathy Dunn at the United Methodist Church in Watonga, Oklahoma on February 8, 1980, and together they had two children; Ty and Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother in law, Tom Morgan.

Ricky is survived by his wife Cathy of the home in Watonga.

Two children……………Ty Ray and wife Toni of Weatherford, Oklahoma

………………………………..Taylor Bailey and husband T.J. of Greenfield, Oklahoma

Two sisters……………….Vicky Ray of Watonga, Oklahoma and Micky Morgan of Watonga, Oklahoma

Three grandchildren….Tyton and Tyger Ray and Tinleigh Bailey

As well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Ricky will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, Oklahoma with Pastor Tracey Ivey officiating. Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bob Fanning Memorial Wrestling tournament, or M. D. Anderson for cancer research.
