Curtis Lee Powers was born June 12, 1959 at Watonga OK to Bobby and Dorothy (Hursh) Powers and passed away September 14, 2020 at the age of 61.
Curtis was a resident of the Watonga community for his entire life where he was a Farmer. He attended Watonga schools and graduated from Watonga High School in 1977 and was a member of the FFA Master Farmer organization. He was an avid deer and hog hunter who loved NASCAR, the Sooners, and his guns. He liked to live a simple life and he was taken far too soon.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Bobby and Dorothy Powers; and one sister, Brenda Kay Powers.
He is survived by:
One brother… Randy Powers of Watonga, Oklahoma.
One sister… Sharon Riley of Watonga, Oklahoma.
Two nieces, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside memorial services for Mr. Curtis Lee Powers will be held Thursday, September 24th, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, Oklahoma with Reverend Doug Jackson officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
