WATONGA - Tony Kohl, 69, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2018, Christian Church of Watonga. Burial follows in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Watonga.

Funeral services for Tony were held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at the Watonga Christian Church with Pastor Adam Lovitt officiating. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga. Services were under the direction of Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga.
Charles Anthony Kohl was born in Okeene Oklahoma on August 19, 1948 to LeRoy and JoCelia Kohl and passed away July 17, 2018 at the age of 69. He resided in the Watonga community for 60 years where he was a Real Estate Appraiser for more than 30 years. Tony graduated from Watonga High School in 1966, and from there went on to attend South Western Oklahoma State University. He attended SWOSU for two years before enlisting in the U.S. Army, where he served with distinction in Korea. After his honorable discharge, he received his B.S. degree from SWOSU. Tony's professional career began with the OEA, the First State Bank in Watonga, as well as Mayor of Watonga. In 1981 he started and continued to operate Tony Kohl Appraisals, as a certified General Real Estate Appraiser until his retirement in 2016.
Tony was a committed member and past president of the Watonga Chamber of Commerce, was a board member of the Red Carpet Country, Watonga Main Street Program and was director of Partnership Watonga, a private economic development group. He was an active member of the Watonga Christian Church serving as Deacon and Elder.
He married Donna Neely at Watonga, Oklahoma on December 3, 1975.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Grandchildren; Ryan Berglund and Haley Pinkerton.
Survivors include his wife Donna of the home in Watonga, OK, three sons; Don Pinkerton, Mark Pinkerton and Roy Pinkerton all of Watonga, two sisters; Renne Murray and husband Virgil of Canton, OK, and Janice Bohlman and husband Keith of Greenville, Texas, Six grandchildren; Michael McSperitt, Amber Pinkerton, Courtney Nagel, Chad Pinkerton, Mika Pinkerton and Wyatt Pinkerton and three great grandchildren; Kaleb McSperitt, Logan McSperitt and Leoti Pinkerton.
The family is asking that Memorial contributions be made to the Watonga Christian Church or the Ryan Berglund Memorial Golf Scholarship
