Ronna JoAnn Keel was born January 16, 1965, at McAlester, Oklahoma to James Lewis Keel and Sharon Kay Keel, and passed away December 20, 2021, at the age of 56.
She was a resident of Blaine County for 54 years, where she was a homemaker, tending to the house and her children. She attended and graduated from Watonga High School. Ronna, also known as “Sissy,” was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and a wonderful friend to many. Ronna had a true heart, always helping someone in need. She loved Derrell, her daughters, and her grandkids immensely. There will be a huge void in our lives and her presence will be greatly missed; she now has her wings and will soar high in the sky, to meet up with her mother, father, and brother, Jerome. Until we meet again.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Lewis Keel and Sharon Kay Keel, and one brother, Jerome Keel.
She is survived by her other half, Derrell Carter; Four daughters, Krista Boyce, of Watonga, OK; Ashley Choate, of Okeene, OK; Heather Gooden of Watonga, OK, and Courtney Lozano, of El Reno, OK. One brother, Jason Keel, of Dallas, TX. One sister, Jana Shook, of Dallas, TX. Seven grandchildren, Nathan Swanegan, of Watonga, OK; Kynzli and Uriah Harris, Of Watonga, OK; Alex Hicks, of Tahlequah, OK; Karissa Hicks, of Canton, OK; J.J. Lozano, of El Reno, OK, and Mason Choate, of Okeene, OK.
Graveside services for Ronna Keel will be held Monday, December 27ths, at
1:00 p.m. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, OK, with Reverend Doug Jackson
officiating, and Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of
flowers, the family welcomes monetary donations to help with financial needs.
