Michael Bryan Compton was born July 7, 1947, to Bryan Compton and Faynell Compton Presley in Oxnard, California, and passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at the age of 77.
Mike was a resident of the Watonga community most of his life, moving to Watonga at the age of 16 from California. He graduated from Watonga high school in 1965.
He was a farmer/rancher, as well as a cattle hauler for many years, for Pinkerton’s and Manke Cattle Company. He loved spending time in his yard in his later years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepdaughter, Lisa.
He is survived by
One son……………………… Kelly Compton of Watonga, Oklahoma.
One granddaughter……………. Kacy Compton and Lori Hedrick, and their son Kaden.
Graveside services for Mike will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
