Albert Fredrick Burghardt

Albert Fredrick Burghardt
June 20, 1928 ~ June 12, 2021

Albert Fredrick Burghardt was born June 20, 1928, at Canton, OK to Wilbur and Maggie Burghardt and passed away June 12, 2021, at the age of 92.

He was a resident of the Watonga Community for 30 years where he was retired from the U.S. Army and the Department of Transportation. He graduated from Oakwood High School on May 20, 1947. On November 24, 1951, he married Joan Duggan at Taloga, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur, and Maggie Burghardt; one daughter, Shirley Ann Bell Burghardt; two sisters, Gertrude Burghardt and Sylvia Ireland; one brother, James Burghardt.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Burghardt of the home in Watonga, OK.

One daughter………………………. Karron Keaton and husband Rickey, of Greenfield ,OK.

Six grandchildren…………………. Amber Zavala, Litisha Edsall, Lezlie Keeton, and John, David, and Peggy Bell.

Seven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Albert Fredrick Burghardt will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, OK with Reverend Adam Lovitt officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
