Mitchell Paxton

The funeral for Mitchell Paxton, 78, of Geary, will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012, at New Life Assembly Church, Geary. The Rev. Ronnie Jacobs will officiate. Burial in Sunset Cemetery. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home, Watonga.

Mitchell was born October 19, 1933, to Daniel and Lula Paxton and died Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

He married Betty Carter in December 1969.

Surviving are wife Betty; sons Danny, Wichita, Kansas, and Calvin, Elgin, South Carolina; daughter Michelle Boardingham, Chicago; stepsons Tommy, Rick and James Carter; stepdaughters Linda Carriel, Joyce Hall and Susan Carter; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
