Sarah Neva (Cuff) Winter
January 17, 1951 ~ October 17, 2020 (age 69)

Sarah Neva Winter, 69, passed from this life on Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Oklahoma City. She was born on January 17, 1951 in Spokane, Washington and was then adopted by Toby and Neva Cuff. Sarah and Rickie Winter were married January 13, 1986 in Watonga and lived in the Homestead-Okeene area.

Sarah had worked at the Mini-Mart in Fairview at one time. The “job” she most liked to do was that of being the Ice Cream Lady at Okeene School. Then she would read to the elementary students after school. She loved those children and they loved her back. Her grandchildren were very special to her too.

Sarah is preceded in death by her daughter, Stormie and her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Rickie Winter of Okeene; her son, Lee Kincheloe of Enid; son and daughter-in-law, Bart and Nicole Kincheloe of Kingfisher; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Misty Kincheloe of Kingfisher; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Nathan Billings of Seiling; daughter, Katherine Winter of Kingfisher; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Danielle Winter of Okeene; grandchildren, Dakota, Dalton and Destiny Kincheloe, Kristen and Lori Kincheloe, Jessica Kincheloe, Rebecca, Johnny, Hannah and Jake Billings, Paige Carson and Adilyn Ince, Brandon, Brendon, Tressie and Alexandria Winter; great-grandchildren, Isabella Kincheloe and Madelyn Keener.

Graveside service for Sarah will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery east of Okeene. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene. Public viewing will be at the funeral home on Wednesday 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Okeene Elementary School or Okeene Child Study Club through the funeral home.
