Graveside services for Jake Winter Jr., age 86, of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene, OK, with Rev. Devon Krause officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jake was born June 8, 1934, in Fairview, OK, to Jake and Ruth Ellen Peters Winter. Jake spent much of his childhood in Fairview and Tulsa. He attended Fairview Schools until moving to Okeene where he graduated with the Class of '53.

Upon retirement they moved to Enid in 1996, where they have resided until present. Jake's lifelong joys have been boating in Oklahoma lakes, the Arkansas and Mississippi Rivers, floating the North Canadian River and water skiing at Canton Lake. He also took many trips to the Rocky Mountains, where he jeeped and snow skied. He also cheered on his favorite football teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the OU Sooners.

Jake traveled to all 50 states during his lifetime! However, his greatest joys have been spent with his 5 grandkids and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Micah Shane Robison.

Survivors include his wife of 66 ½ years, Marjorie, daughters Elizabeth and Mike McGreevy, Enid, and Dianah and Gary Robison, Longdale; granddaughters Katie and Matt Johnson and Betsy and Chad McDaniel, all from Enid; grandsons Garen and Alicia Robison, Okeene, Kevin and Bobbie Robison, Fairview; great-grandchildren Karson Sanderson, Grant, Baylee and Taylor Robison, Blake and Keelie Robison, Bristol Robison, and Connor and Hannah McDaniel.
