Brenda Oney was born October 20, 1966 in Pampa, Texas to Carl Oney and Margaret Dalsing Oney and passed from this life in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on January 31, 2020. In 1972 Brenda and her family moved to Yukon where she started grade school. In 1980 they moved to Okeene where she graduated from Okeene High School. She had lived in Okeene except for a short time when she lived in Enid and worked at K-Mart and Hobby Lobby. She loved to do crafts, play card games and work puzzles. Another favorite thing to do was watch birds and squirrels. Brenda was a member of Okeene United Methodist Church.
Those who have preceded her in death are her parents, Carl and Margaret Oney; her grandparents, Earl and Wilda Mae Dalsing, Theresa Medford and Joe Oney; two nephews, Justin Wayne Oney and Matthew Scott Oney.
Those left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Richard Oney and James Oney; two nieces, Amanda Oney and Tana Oney; one nephew, Jim Oney; a cousin, Debbie King as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service for Brenda will be Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Okeene First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene.
