Donald Fritz
(June 24, 1917 - October 3, 2014)

Funeral services for Don Fritz, 97, of Longdale, OK will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Lutheran Church in Watonga, OK with Pastor David Kaiser officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery at Okeene, OK under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Don was born June 24, 1917 in Pennsylvania to Butch and Bessie (Albright) Fritz and passed away on October 3, 2014 at Okeene, OK. He married Gloria Dawn Rutz on October 2, 1953 in Arizona. He enjoyed sports, gardening and woodworking. Don retired from U.S. Gypsum in 1980 after 33 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy Fritz, and daughter Donna Sue Fritz. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Gloria Fritz of the home; two sons, Terry Fritz and wife Carol of Riverside, CA and Donald Richard Fritz, Jr. and wife Cindy of San Antonio, TX; one daughter, Debra Seifried and husband Fred of Seiling, OK; five grandchildren, Donald Richard Fritz, III, James Fritz, Samuel Fritz, Jennifer Coons and Janette Nailon; five great-grandchildren, Chloe Nailon, Paige Coons, Lily Fritz, Kendra Coons and Madelyn Fritz; nephews David Gallo, Vernon Gallo and Michael Gallo; Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com.
