Vera Mae Clester, 87, Okeene


The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Okeene with Rev. David Paine officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery . Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Okeene.

Survivors include one daughter, Melba Elaine Clester Doshier of Covington; step-daughters, Iona Stephens, Oklahoma City, and E. Dorothy Fox, Okeene; one grandchild, Alicia Gaye Doshier, Covington; step-grandchildren, June Griffy, Austin, Texas, Garry Crain and wife Carrie of Prospect, Ky., De Wood and husband, Skip of Ames , Kathey Swenson of Stillwater, Marc Fox and wife, Connie of Okeene; great-grandchildren, Virginia "Ginny" Barrow, Leslie Griffy, Linsi Crain, Ross Crain, Dana Hartfiel, Traci Snook, Camille Swenson, Emily Swenson, Parker Dolezan, Bryce Fox, Royce Fox; great-great-grandchildren, Riley Hartfiel and Lauren Hartfiel.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Okeene or the charity of choice, through Lanman Funeral Home of Cherokee.
