The funeral for Melissa "Missy" Dawn Cannon, 35, of Okeene, will be 2 p.m. today, Dec. 30, 2009, at United Methodist Church, Okeene. The Revs. Kirt Moelling and George Rowe will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery . Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene.

She was born Oct. 20, 1974, in Kingfisher to Robert and Beverly Cannon and died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009.

She was a graduate of Okeene High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in health information systems. She lived for two years in Bethany, where she was a medical records coder. She was a member of Okeene United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her parents, Robert and Beverly Cannon of Okeene; one brother, Rick; and her grandmother, La-Vaughn Fisher of Kingfisher.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Okeene Cheerleaders or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
