Kathy Boeckman was born February 10, 1953 to Roy Hudson and Darlene Manos and passed away from this life on February 27, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with COVID-19.
Kathy’s pride and joy were her kids and grandkids as well as her “gym kids”. Kathy owned and operated Okeene Zippers Gymnastics Center since 1989. She enjoyed all her gymnasts here as well as all the gymnasts, coaches and judges she worked with the last 28, years. Kathy not only coached gymnastics but was also a national gymnastics judge that worked all over the United States.
Kathy is survived by her husband Freddie, two daughters; Mitchie Lamle and husband Justin of Enid, Heather Boeckman and George Newer of Loyal, four sons; Buddy and wife Heather of Fairview, Dustin and wife Heather of Carmen, Dakota and Lea Rupp of Atwood, Kansas and Chekotah Kane of the home in Okeene. 19 grandchildren, two great grandchildren on the way. One aunt, Bonita Haffey and three brothers; Mark Manos and wife Teri, Jamie Manos all of Okeene and Michael Hudson of Fresno, CA and one sister Marsha Hudson of Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Jim and Darlene Manos and Roy and Pat Hudson, one daughter, Miranda, sister, Cindy Manos and brother, Marion Hudson.
Graveside services for Kathy will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Roselawn Cemetery in Okeene, Oklahoma. Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics, Canton, Oklahoma.
