Mildred Starkey
DUMAS - Mildred Starkey, 59, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate.
Private burial will be at a later date.
Mrs. Starkey was born Feb. 17, 1942, in Watonga, Okla. She lived inDumas more than 35 years. She worked for Dumas Independent School District in the cafeteria and as a janitor. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dee Starkey III of Las Vegas, N.M., and Sam Starkey of Dumas; a daughter, Sharon Lair of Amarillo; two brothers, Charles Southerland of Vici, Okla., and Sam Southerland of Clinton, Okla., a sister, Eddie Rae Shafer of Grady, N.M.; and six grandchildren.
The family will be at 908 Zauk.
The family suggests memorials be to Calvary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 633, Dumas, TX 79029.
